Thus, a nord warrior can become uber-mage given enough time. The way the skill system works, any character can use any skill regardless of bonuses or natrual abilities. As for the guilds, you can join as many or as few as you like. You should know the main quest when you run across it. As a level 15 you might be able to handle him. Be warned, though, he is very tough to kill. East of Suran is a badass Orc named Umbra, who has a very powerful 2 handed sword. It's atop a dresser thing by a guard, so it's kind of hard to get. If you are into long blades there is a really good one in the eastern guard tower in Balmora. The two best heavy armor types are ebony and daedric. The better heavy armors are a little harder to come by, though. Try wondering around the purple and black shrines that are shaped funky to get some good weapons. Yes, it's kind of lame how you can grab a whole set that easily, but oh well. Well, glass armor is the best light armor in Morrowind, until you get to the expansions. In summary: Stuff I should do in Morrowind, without giving the whole plot away. (1.2 Athlon, 512Mb Ram, 7200rpm Maxtor Drives). My computer isn't the newest thing, but come on.
It takes probably three minutes just to start the game. The screen goes black and sits there for like 30-60 seconds. It loads at odd times, often doesn't tell me it's loading, especially when leaving a domicile. Last ramble: The game seems to be poorly programmed. I wonder if it would make sense for a Nord Barbarian to be part of the mages guild. All I want to know is whether or not I will "Know" what the main quest is when I run across it (don't spoil it - View image here: -).Īlso, with regards to factions, is it appropriate or necessary to join all guilds? RIght now i'm a member of the thieves guild, fighters guild, Hlaalu house, and Blades. I just do whatever quest I can find(what I mean is that I don't know what the main quest is). I'm not even sure what I should be doing. The best stuff i've found (stolen) was a bunch of Glass Armor and Weapons from Ghostgate. I have no exact questions, I just want to know if there are any items I should try to seek out. I have a level 15 Nord custom class, even though I find I like thieving more than being a barbarian. In fact, I liked it so much I went and purchased the PC version instead, with two expansion packs for $29.95.
I never got around to playing it until earlier this past month (Jan). When the "Classic" line of XBox games came out, I bought Morrowind for $20.
